Sunday Worship at 10.30am: No Communion: Cheri Young will be preaching on The Purpose of the Parables from Matt 13.10-17. Brian Boyd will lead worship.

Children’s Church @ ACF. Usual Sunday morning activities for children are: Age 3-P2’s in the DJ Team room (by the crèche); P3-P4’s in the coffee hall; P5-6’s are in the cube room; *Parents, please pick your children up after the service* ; Ignite: P7-S2’s meets in the youth room at the front of the main hall. All groups run from 11am to 12 noon.

Home Groups: Meet throughout the city. Please speak with Pete Henderson or contact the office for further details.

Youth @ ACF

Diesel (S3-S6) Weekly Youth Bible Study is on a Monday Night 7.00-9.00pm.

Fuel (P7-S3) Weekly Youth Cafe meets on a Thursday night from 7.00-9.00pm.

On the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month the youth meet at the Webb’s from 7.45-9.00pm for a social. It is open to anyone in P7-S6.

Ladies Bible Study: Every Monday from 9.30am to 11.30am. This session the group will be doing a lifebuilder study on Colossians and Philemon. The study is introduction says, “We all long for more – more wisdom, more maturity, more power, more faith. These New Testament books were written to meet our deepest needs. As you dig deeper into the depths of their wisdom you will discover how to find lasting fulfillment in Christ.”

New members are very welcome and we will have spare study guides available for anyone who hasn’t been before. It is a very relaxed group and we have tea and coffee before we study and a prayer time at the end. Single & Parenting: Help and hope for single parents. 7.00pm every Tuesday to May 15th. There aren’t many people who truly understand the unique challenges single parents face. You deeply desire to do what’s best for your kids, but sometimes it’s all you can do to survive from one day to the next. Single & Parenting is a special weekly group that will bring hope to your life. We’d love for you to join us.Creche/child minding facilities are available at the church if required. Prayer Meeting and Bible Study: Tuesdays 7.30pm to 9.00pm. This week our Pastor, Vijay Pillai will lead the Bible Study, and Mandy Garden the prayer time.

Young Adults Group (YAGS) is for those S6/17years old, students and young professionals. We meet 9-10.30pm every Tuesday for hot chocolate, a catch up and Bible study. For further information contact Gillian MacKenzie on gillian@aberdeencf.com

Mainly Music is a fun music time for parents/caregivers and their preschool children, followed by coffee and free play session. It meets every Thursday from 10.00am-11.15am during term time. If you are interested in coming along, please e-mail Pamela at maclure13@gmail.com

Seniors Friday: Held every Friday from 10.30am to 12 noon. Food, quizzes, teas, coffees and laughter. Speak to Brian or Rona Boyd for further information or contact the church office.

Diamonds Scotland The next event will take place on Saturday the 17th of February 2018 at Kings Community Church, Aberdeen from 7-9pm. The title of this event is #Loved and we will be continuing through Ruth, looking at Chapter 3.

Future events outwith ACF

Scots Night, a celebration of Scotland’ is a concert devised to showcase Scottish music, with a distinct North-east flavour.   Local singer, entertainer and broadcaster Robert Lovie, will compere the evening, which will feature some other excellent musicians:  Raemond Jappy, the 2008 Glenfiddich Fiddle Champion is joined by two-time All Scotland Accordion Champion, Craig Paton, together with celebrated pianist and much sought-after accompanist, Maureen Rutherford.  The line-up also includes local piper, James McPetrie, a member of the prestigious National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland.

The concert in support of Aberdeen Street Pastors is  in Summerhill Church, Stronsay Drive on Friday 23 February at 7.30pm.   Admission is £5 at the door, but tickets can be reserved by e-mail to: tickets@summerhillchurch.org.uk (please include name for collection and number of tickets required).

Glorious Conference, 2018: Women from across Scotland are excited to be gathering together again for Glorious 2018, a day of dynamic teaching and worship on the 24th Feb 2018 in the Beach Ballroom, Aberdeen.

This year Glorious is delighted to introduce Arianna Walker as the key speaker. Attendees will also hear from local women doing incredible work, inspired by God. Come ready to be refreshed, encouraged and challenged to lay aside every weight that slows you down and run with perseverance.
