Sunday Worship at 10.30am:  No Communion: This is our annual Nativity service, where the children will present ‘The Greatest Journey’. Elaine Henderson will lead our worship.

Children’s Church @ ACF: Children’s Church will resume on Sunday 7 January 2018. Usual Sunday morning activities for children are: Age 3-P2’s in the DJ Team room (by the crèche); P3-P4’s in the coffee hall; P5-6’s are in the cube room; *Parents, please pick your children up after the service* ; Ignite: P7-S2’s meets in the youth room at the front of the main hall. All groups run from 11am to 12 noon.

Youth @ ACF

Youth Christmas Party, for P7-S6’s, from 5-9pm on 18 December. Our youth groups at ACF will be joining together for a night of food, games, quizzing and a Christmas movie.

The usual youth activities mention below will resume on Monday 8 January 2018

Diesel (S3-S6) Weekly Youth Bible Study is on a Monday Night 7.00-9.00pm.

Fuel (P7-S3) Weekly Youth Cafe meets on a Thursday night from 7.00-9.00pm.

On the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month the youth meet at the Webb’s from 7.45-9.00pm for a social. It is open to anyone in P7-S6.

Ladies Bible Study: Every Monday during term time from 9.30-11.30am. This term we will be studying Ephesians: God’s Big Plan for Christ’s New People by Thabiti Anyabwile.

New members would be very welcome and we will have spare study guides available for anyone who hasn’t been before. It is a very relaxed group and we have tea and coffee before we study and a prayer time at the end. There is a crèche for preschool children. If you would like any more information about the group please see Annabel or Isabel after church or email Annabel on belle@belleturner.com

Prayer Meeting and Bible Study: Tuesdays 7.30pm to 9.00pm. This week Pastor Vijay Pillai will lead both our Bible Study and the prayer time.

Young Adults Group (YAGS) is for those S6/17years old, students and young professionals. We meet 9-10.30pm every Tuesday for hot chocolate, a catch up and Bible study. For further information contact Gillian MacKenzie on gillian@aberdeencf.com

Mainly Music is a fun music time for parents/caregivers and their preschool children, followed by coffee and free play session. It meets every Thursday from 10.00am-11.15am during term time. If you are interested in coming along, please speak to Pamela Maclure or David Young.Mainly Music will  re commence on Thursday 11 January 2018

Seniors Friday: Held every Friday from 10.30am to 12 noon. Food, quizzes, teas, coffees and laughter. Speak to Bert or Beth Wilson for further information or contact the church office. Seniors will resume on Friday 12 January 2018

Future Events at ACF:

Sunday worship at 10.30am on 24 December. No Communion: Malcolm Webb will lead our hour long, Christmas Eve Carol Service, when we will be joined by Portlethen Christian Fellowship and The Korean Church of Aberdeen. This service will be followed by a Fellowship Lunch.

Christmas Day Service at 10:30am on 25 December. The service will be led by Brian Boyd, and children young and not so young anymore are encouraged to bring a Christmas present with them.

Home Groups: Meet throughout the city on the second and fourth Sundays, and Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings of the month. Please speak with Pete Henderson or contact the office for further details.

Recycling for Tumaini: ACF is collecting clothes for recycling, the proceeds going to support the work of Tumaini. There is a collecting bucket in the foyer. Every donation helps.
