Christmas Hampers
Over the last few years ACF has had the privilege of donating Christmas hampers to some of those in need in our local community, a practice we hope to continue this year. In addition, this year we have been approached by the Family Nurse Partnership, which supports struggling, pregnant under 20’s through the birth of their children up to age 2 years, asking if we could donate hampers to help alleviate their circumstances. Of course we said we would.
Each hamper will include a small booklet with Scripture verses from Matthew and Luke explaining the reason for Christmas. Please, please help
Donations of non-perishable food items e.g. tinned goods, tea, coffee, sugar, Christmas pies, rice, pasta etc., will be gladly accepted at the church, up to and including Sunday 9th December. After morning worship on this date, volunteers are requested to stay behind to help put together the hampers for distribution. Please speak to Lynne Powell for further information.
