The central truths that helps us understand God’s design plan is that the biblical God is Creator and humans (and all the universe with them), creation. Sin, in essence, is a disregard for these basic truths. When viewed in this way, Sin expresses itself in two ways: pride, where I take the place of God and/or self-contempt, where I undervalue the goodness with which God has made me and the rest of creation.
