International Justice Mission Training Day

Saturday 16th of April, 2-5.30pm, Aberdeen Christian Fellowship Church

IJM‘s Andy Bevan & Freya Bradley will be in Aberdeen to lead a training day designed to equip Christians to respond to the call to seek justice and will particularly focus on efforts to address modern day slavery. The hope is that people will leave empowered to do something, whether through supporting IJM or pioneering something locally alongside a church or prayer group – or a blend of the two! The training is open for anyone who would like to know more about IJM’s work and be equipped in the fight for justice.

The day will consider the following areas:

* The biblical call to seek justice

* The problem of everyday violence & IJM’s response

* Getting involved

o Training on how to speak & communicate on behalf of the oppressed in our world

o Volunteering opportunities through IJM

o Brainstorming future events and ideas to address the problem of slavery locally and globally
