Tumaini Fund Scotland – School project – bringing light and hope to Nyavyondo, Biharimulo District.
New pencils, rubbers and sharpeners and coloured pencils required to help us supply a new school
Collection for 2 Sundays only as Malcolm, Karen and Martha will be travelling to Tanzania on 12th October.
Our next Scottish project in Kagera is in a forest area called Nyavyondo, a sub village and home for 1123 people including 369 children. The nearest school (and health services) are 30 km away and as a result all the children here are illiterate having never received any schooling.
We have been praying to the Lord and we are grateful that He has provided enough funds to build four classrooms. The work is just starting before the rains come and it is hoped to build the first two classrooms ready for January’s intake of Primary 1 and nursery.
The Webbs will help us transport the supplies and will be in good time to give each child a gift of stationery to start their school journey. Could you show some them some practical love by buying some supplies?
