Sunday Worship at 10.30am (No Communion): James MacKenzie will bring God’s Word. Elaine Henderson will lead worship. Crèche facilities are available during the service. Refreshments are served after the service.

Children@ACF. Our Sunday morning activities for children are: Age 3 – P1 in the DJ Team room (by the crèche): P2-P3 in the coffee hall; P4, P5 & P6 are in the cube room; *Parents, please pick your children up after the service* ; Ignite: P7 – S2 Bible Study meets in the youth room at the front of the main hall. All groups run from 11am to 12 noon.

Sunday evening services are usually held on the first and third Sundays each month, commencing at 6.30pm. The next service will be on 3 April when Daniel Patterson will be speaking and Malcolm Webb will be leading worship.

Youth activities: 

Fuel (P7-S3) Weekly Youth Cafe meets on a Thursday Night from 7.00-9.00pm.

Diesel (S3-S6) Weekly Youth Bible Study is on a Monday Night 7.00-9.00pm.

On the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month after the evening service all the youth meet around at the Webbs from 7.45-9.00pm for a social. It is open to anyone in P7-S6.

Women’s Bible StudyMondays at 9.30am during term time. This term, the book by Francis Chan called Crazy Love will be the basis of the study. The group meets in the cube room and pre school crèche is available. Please speak with Annabel if you are interested in attending.

Prayer Meeting and Bible Study: Tuesdays 7.30pm to 9.00pm. On April 5th Global Impact will lead the prayer time.

Mainly Music: Mainly Music is a fun music time for parents/caregivers and their preschool children, followed by coffee and free play session. It meets every Thursday from 10.00am -11.15am during school term time. If you are interested in coming along, please contact or speak to Donna Cuthill.

Seniors Friday: Held every Friday from 10.30am to 12 noon. Food, quizzes, teas, coffees and laughter. Speak to Bert or Beth Wilson for further information.

PAPRIKA; Mother and Toddler’s for Hungarian families: This group meets every Friday from 10am to 11.30am during term time. For further information, or to volunteer to help, please contact Tabita at tabitadoczi@yahoo.com

Home Groups: Held on the second and fourth weeks monthly. Groups usually meet on a Sunday afternoon; Sunday, Monday and Wednesday evenings; and Thursday, early evening. For more information please contact Pete Henderson.

Pop Up Sale for the Tumaini Fund: Saturday 16th of April, 9-12.30pm, Aberdeen Christian Fellowship Church. In the car park, if the weather allows. Otherwise, in the coffee hall. Tumaini Fund is holding a sale to raise funds to purchase treadle sewing machines for the new Tailoring School, in Kayanga, Tanzania. If you have items to donate for sale, please see Val Ashton ASAP or email tumainiscotland@gmail.com. Please come along and bring friends on the day to buy good quality toys, games, clothes and bargains. Refreshments will be available.

Messy Church: Is held on the first Sunday of every month from 4pm to 6pm. Next Messy Church is Sunday 3 April 2016. Messy Church is open to all children aged 3 to 11 years, and will include a wide range of appropriate activities for the children, who will also have some food together. Messy Church is a great opportunity for children to invite their friends to something where they will hear the gospel, and their parents might just also, so if you’re not in the habit of taking the children, please consider it.  See David Young for more information.

Future events outwith ACF:

Darwin or Design? The re-emergence of Intelligent Design poses formidable problems for the all pervasive  Darwinian world view. Prof. David Galloway, President of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, and Dr. Alistair Noble, former research scientist and HM Inspector of Schools in Scotland, describe the science of cosmic and biological design, and its implications for faith at Deeside Christian Fellowship Church from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 16 April. International Justice Mission Training Day: Saturday 16th of April, 2-5.30pm, Aberdeen Christian Fellowship ChurchIJM‘s Andy Bevan & Freya Bradley will be in Aberdeen to lead a training day designed to equip Christians to respond to the call to seek justice and will particularly focus on efforts to address modern day slavery. The hope is that people will leave empowered to do something, whether through supporting IJM or pioneering something locally alongside a church or prayer group – or a blend of the two! The training is open for anyone who would like to know more about IJM’s work and be equipped in the fight for justice. The day will consider the following areas: The biblical call to seek justice, the problem of everyday violence & IJM’s response, getting involved, training on how to speak & communicate on behalf of the oppressed in our world, volunteering opportunities through IJM, brainstorming future events and ideas to address the problem of slavery locally and globally. There will also be a movie shown in the evening that all are welcome to attend.


ACF FOOD BANK: To support The Lighthouse and others in need, food items such as cereal, sugar,tea, coffee, biscuits, and tins/jars/packets of soup, meat, meals, vegetables, together with household cleaning items and toiletries, can be donated. Plastic collecting bins will be in the foyer for this purpose. Thanks to all who have donated over recent months. Your contribution has been invaluable to those less fortunate than ourselves.

RECYCLING FOR TUMAINI: ACF is collecting clothes and drink cans for recycling, the proceeds going to support the work of Tumaini. There is a collecting bucket in the foyer. Every donation helps.
