From Isabel McHardy
I leave for China today (9th). Our son James will be with me for the first week of the two weeks I’ll be there and would appreciate prayer for the trip if possible.
I’d particularly like prayer for wisdom in what I say to people I spend time with, particularly the 5 women I got to know in Aberdeen. Apart from one they all became Christians while in Aberdeen At least one of them is struggling through lack of fellowship. We will be seeing quite a lot of the girl who hasn’t become a Christian yet.
I have been asked to speak very briefly at my friend Vivien’s wedding on 17th. That should be a great occasion. She is a strong believer, with (now) believing parents and is marrying a strong Christian. There will be many non-Christians there, I imagine.
I’ll be travelling around China by train a fair bit the second week. As I can’t speak Chinese at all this could be tricky! Pray I’ll get on and off the right trains at the right time.
Thanks
Isabel
