Sunday worship at 10.30am (No Communion): This hour long service will be a celebration of our Step Out Holiday Club, sharing favourite songs and stories from the week with the church family. Elaine Henderson lead worship. There will be no DJ Team   .

Children@ACF. Our Sunday morning activities for children are: Age 3 – P1 in the DJ Team room (by the creche): P2-4 in the coffee hall; P5 & P6 are in the cube room; *Parents, please pick your children up after the service* ; Ignite: P7 – S2 Bible Study meets in the youth room at the front of the main hall. All groups run from 11am to 12 noon. Please note that for the duration of the school holidays all the children will meet in the coffee hall for DJ Team.

Tuesdays at 7.30pm. Prayer meeting and bible study.

Seniors Friday: Held every Friday from 10.30am to 12 noon. Food,quizzes,teas,coffees and a blether. Speak to Bert or Beth Wilson for further information.

Family Picninc: Sunday 9 August, 1pm – 3pm at the Duthie Park. A church-wide picnic at the park with games for youngsters! In the event of bad weather we will meet at the church instead.

Please note that the remaining items in this section are off for the duration of the school holidays and will variously resume thereafter

Creche: Please note that the creche will not be staffed during the school holidays, reopening on 23 August. Parents are welcome to use the facilities during this period, but must remain with the children. 

Youth activities:

The Step, Youth Cafe (S1-S6) is on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday lunchtime from 12.30-1.20pm. 

Fuel (P7-S3) Youth Cafe meets Fortnightly on a Friday Night from 7-9pm. Diesel (S3-S6) Weekly Youth Bible Study is on a Monday Night 7-9pm.

On the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month after the evening service all the youth meet around at the Webbs from 7.45-9pm for a social. It is open to anyone in P7-S6.

Women’s Bible StudyMondays at 9.30am. This term the book by Joyce Meyer, ‘Battlefield of the mind’ will be studied. Ladies, please feel free to join this group. Creche provided.

Sunday evening services are held on the first and third Sundays each month, commencing at 6.30pm. The next service will be on 16 August..

PAPRIKA; Mother and Toddler’s for Hungarian families: This group meets every Friday from 10am to 11.30am. For further information, or to volunteer to help, please contact Tabita at tabitadoczi@yahoo.com

Messy Church: Is held on the first Sunday of every month from 4pm to 6pm. However due to the summer activities for children (see below), the next Messy Church is Sunday 6 September 2015. Messy Church is open to all children aged 3 to 11 years, Messy Church will include a wide range of appropriate activities for the children, who will also have some food together. Mainly Music: Mainly Music is a fun music time for parents/caregivers and their preschool children, followed by coffee and free play session. It meets every Thursday from 10.00am -11.15am during school term time. If you are interested in coming along, please contact or speak to Donna Cuthill.

Home Groups: Held on the second and fourth weeks monthly. Groups  usually meet during the week,  on a Sunday afternoon, Sunday, Monday and Wednesday evenings and Thursday, early evening. Groups will recommence week commencing 23 August. For more information please contact Pete Henderson.

News:

The Lighthouse Support Centre: The Lighthouse Support Centre in Tillydrone is in urgent need of volunteer crèche workers to help during various support groups after the summer holidays.  The three sessions requiring help run independently on Mondays from 13:00-14:30, Tuesdays 09:30-11:30, and Wednesdays 10:00-13:00.  For more information or to volunteer, please contact Jane Merson on 01224 486276 or email jane@lighthouse-abdn.org.uk.

ACF FOOD BANK: To support The Lighthouse and others in need, food items such as cereal, sugar,tea, coffee, biscuits, and tins/jars/packets of soup, meat, meals, vegetables, together with household cleaning items and toiletries, can be donated. Plastic collecting bins will be in the foyer for this purpose.

RECYCLING FOR TUMAINI: With effect from Sunday 3 May, ACF will be collecting clothes and drink cans for recycling, the proceeds going to support the work of Tumaini. There will be a collecting bucket in the foyer. Every donation helps.
