Confident Christianity: Sharing the gospel in an age of tough questions. 9am-4.30pm, Saturday 1 June 2019 at Hebron Evangelical Church, Summer Street.

Do you find the thought of talking about Jesus to friends, neighbours, classmates or colleagues daunting?
Do you sometimes find yourself thinking “what if I say something that makes God look bad?” Or wondering what happens if they raise a challenging question or objection to which you’re unable to respond?
Well, you’re not alone! In the fast-paced, skeptical and secular culture in which we live, most of us find evangelism a bit daunting. That’s why Solas is partnering with ACF, Hebron, and three other churches, for this conference. We will help you become confident and empowered to talk about Jesus more naturally, engage in evangelism that persuades people, and feel equipped to answer the questions of your friends.

SPEAKERS/TOPICS

Andy Bannister “How to talk about Jesus without looking like an idiot” “Are we matter or do we matter?”
Mark Stirling “Everyone believes in something” “Can I disagree without being disagreeable?”
David Galloway “Life’s design: The real deal or an illusion?” “Can science explain everything?”
Max Baker-Hytch “What can historians tell us about Jesus?” “Why isn’t God more obvious?”
